Callihroe involucrata ‘Buffalo Rose'

An outstanding decumbent mallow, trailing from a central rootstock stems snake for several feet through the garden sending up a continuous parade very showy of magenta flowers, we've had a hell of a time convincing some of our botanically challenged customers that it wasn't some sort of geranium. As to the ‘Buffalo Rose’ thing I don’t see much difference from the straight species.
