Acer palmatum Crimson Queen seedlings

Open pollenated seedlings from Crimson Queen, they resemble the parent but have some variability and are on their own roots which is a plus in cold climates. Often plants die to the ground for several years before they are established. This is generally fatal to grafts but not for own root plants.
