Cactus and other Succulent

Succulent plants have been incredibly trendy over the past few years. I've really been into them as well... the forms and textures are so different from anything else in the garden, and extreme drought tolerance is always a good trait. Our selection is focused mostly on hardy or nearly hardy forms. For all of these, winter drainage is often as important or even more important than winter cold, so site carefully for maximal hardiness. If you love something and it isn't quite hardy, succulents are some of the very easiest to overwinter indoors. Just don't water them, keep them on the cool side, and give them a little sun in the windowsill. They won't really grow during the winter, but they'll survive until they can move back outdoors.
